Attached to the Base or Base and Expansion Battery Management Modules, the DC-DC Converter Module provides regulated power 3.3V@10Amps, 5V@10A, 12VDC@7A. The conversion efficiency is ultra high up to 97%.

The DC-DC Converter Module is supported as an option to MP-04R and MP-08R battery controllers. The DC-023 provides regulated system power and ATX signaling.

Note: The ATX connector does not provide -5V, -12V or 5VSB so some motherboards may not operate correctly. The 5VSB pins are sourced from the 5V supply, motherboards need to be configured to turn-on after power fail to workaround the no 5VSB ahead of turn-on.

The latest revision of the DC-023 module (D01) supports a -12V DC-DC converter. This is required for some Motherboards and analog options. Please checkoff if you require this option, your order will be adjusted $30 to cover the cost.

Converts from battery power or charge power to a higher output voltage for operating system components. The high efficiency saves battery energy and allows the device to stay cool enough to be passively cooled in most cases.

Output Power: 19V (4A, 75Watts), 24V (3.1A, 75Watts), 28V (2.6A, 75Watts)

DC1U-1VR connects to any of the IBPS Modules (BB-xx series, MP-xx series or XP-xx series)and takes input voltage for conversion (see above voltages). The input connection is by the standard 8 pin Molex Mini-Fit Jr connector. Cable 19-00026-20 is an example cable for connecting the input voltage. The output power is provided by a 4 pin Molex Mini-Fit Jr connector. The module is RoHS Compliant.

DC-DC Up Converter with efficiencies of up to 96% depending on input voltage. Converts from battery power or charge power to a higher output voltage for operating user devices. The device can operate at about 100 Watts with no ariflow, and 240 Watts with a small amount of airflow.

The DC2U-1VR provides four input power connectors to attach any of the IBPS battery management modules (BB-xx,MP-xx and XP-xx). The input connection is by the standard 8 pin Molex Mini-Fit Jr connector. Cable 19-00026-20 is an example cable for connecting the input voltage. The output connector is a 10 pin Molex Mini-Fit Jr connector.

The input Voltage range is 9V - 24V (Input Voltage must be lower than the output voltage)

If you need additional output power these converters can be combined in parallel to scale the output power. The modules have dynamic current sharing to distribute the load.

The standard modules support 19V, 24V, 28V and 48V outputs, other voltages may be special ordered (19-48V range).

Battery Management Module with integrated smart battery chargers and ATX power supply function. Supports two BA95 smart battery packs for up to 190 Watt-hours of battery power. The ATX power supply electronics are ultra efficient and supply 12V @ 7Amps; 5V & 3.3V @ 10 Amps; -12V @ 0.3A with efficiencies up to 98%.

The Output power is supplied via an ATX power supply connector.

The module can be passively cooled in most cases due to the low losses.

Battery charging is automatic when an 18V power source is supplied. The battery charge time is about 2 hours if a single battery is attached and 3.5 hours if two BA95 battery packs are attached.

The module provides an RS-232 host connection for monitoring the fuel gauge and battery status. "Minibats" Windows(TM) software is provided with the module. This software will let users monitor the power and battery status, perform warnings and orderly system shutdowns when the batteries reach the end of their discharge cycle.

This module is ideal for powering embedded computers, robotics, electronics, instruments. The "R" at the end of the part number indicates it is RoHS compliant.

The DC123SR is an ultra high efficiency ATX DC-DC Converter Module that provides regulated power 3.3V@10Amps, 5V@10A and 12V@12A (-12V also standard). This converter works with the following battery management modules: BB-04S, MP-04S, MP-08S, XP-04S and XP-08S. The conversion efficiency is up to 97%.
