Unregulated Power Kit. This battery system does not have a DC-DC converter and provides the user with the RAW battery voltage which moves between 11 to 16.8 Volts as the packs discharge and 18V when the AC adapter is plugged in and charging. In most cases the EK-05 kit is used to power electronics that require regulated outputs. Kit includes one Base Battery Management Module, Power Supply, DC IN Jumper Cable, System Power Output Cable, Serial Port Conversion Cable, and User CD. BB-04FR Battery Management Module size is PC104, 3.6" x 3.8" (or BB-04SR 2.91" x 3.58" by request) The unregulated IBPS module provides a voltage that varies as the battery is discharged. The range when the battery is sourcing the load is 11-16.8V and 18V+ when the system is provided with a charge voltage.
