Iver2 is an affordable, next generation AUV designed to execute a variety of missions in near coastal environments. Iver2’s smart design delivers a robust open system architecture utilizing the very latest manufacturing processes and marine technology. This includes both OceanServer's high performance IBPS battery system and digital compass products. The vehicle is simple to use and one man portable. Application providers or researchers can use the functionality of the standard base Iver2 AUV vehicle or add additional sensors. Throughout a mission the vehicle creates a time stamped, geo-referenced mission data file. This information can be collected while the vehicle is on the surface or data is stored for future use. Mission data can then be put into familiar post-processing programs. Planning a mission has never been easier. Download readily available geo-referenced charts, maps or satellite images into Iver2’s Vector map mission planning software and just click to position waypoints where you want the vehicle to go. This simple but powerful tool lets you program the vehicle and sensor parameters for each waypoint or for a complete survey. Base vehicle configurations start at $54,000. This price includes a software license for the Vector Map Software, the Iver2 AUV vehicle and a battery powered access point (see picture of rugged yellow box for communication with the vehicle). | Iver2 Standard Control-Fins Control Fins come in either orange or yellow. A standard Iver2 AUV comes with a single top orange fin and three yellow fins. These units can be easily replaced in the field if damaged. User's should also inspected the fin axle to confirm it is not damaged or bent. | |
