

The Power8 Battery Box is a portable rechargeable battery power system in a weatherproof case. It can be used at sea or in the field to power devices or equipment that can’t be plugged into a power source. They are used to power anything from network equipment such as wireless routers, notebook computers or anything that can run off DC power. It can be configured to provide DC output voltages such as Power Over Ethernet (POE) or up to 48VDC. Capacity, charge state and runtime to empty can all be viewed on the LCD when the case is open.
The base Power8 Box can be configured with a single Molicel ME202xx 73 Watt-Hour rechargeable battery pack or up to 8 packs for a total capacity of 584 Watt Hours of capacity. The Power8 can output raw battery voltage (11.1 Volts Nominal) or regulated outputs can be requested (POE 48V, 19V, 24V, 28V, 48V or call for other regulated outputs).
Additional Options:
The Power8 Battery Box can recharged from multiple sources: Solar Panels, vehicle power or standard AC/DC power supplies. The box comes with three connectors. One connector is output power to your device, the other two connectors are for charging located inside the box cover. The Power8 requires between 18 Volts and 24 Volts for recharging the battery packs. The box can power a device while the battery packs are being recharged to prevent any downtime.
